2012 — Today's mystery object is...

... just a little organic something that I suspect may have wandered off the set of "Prometheus" to take up residence — as a small stalactite — on the inside of the lid of my not-that-old jar of Branston's small chunk pickle, dagnabbit. It's (almost) enough to put a chap off his little pre-Xmas, pre-crockpot, Jacob's high-fibre cream cracker snack.
