Everyone1 needs a hobby; something to stave off the boredom.

keep out

I first began maintaining IBM intranet and public (Java) web material (in other words, using HTML and web browser technology, FTP, SSH, and so on) in 1995 on AIX systems. It thus feels natural to be hosting personal "stuff" on my home network — a decade after taking early retirement!

"De gustibus non est disputandum"

as my scarily effective Latin master Mr. Greenhalgh probably would have said.

To the hackers

When I was hosting 'molehole' in Texas, my server logs showed constant probing for security weaknesses. I believe in keeping the technology I use as simple as I can, to give my little brain a chance to understand it. So my public website is essentially simple and static. Like the webmaster, in fact.

What you see on my Sitemap is what's here... If you don't see it here, it's not here. Recall "Virtual, Case 4!" :-)
