2011 — 27 November: Sunday

Well, it's not currently raining1 though lots of grey clouds are scudding about. I think my bright blue waterproof jacket will be walking with me this morning. Not before tea, breakfast, and the packing of a lunch...

[Pause]

All of which having been done, and the washing machine doing its thing, too, it's nearly time I wasn't here. I was reading a not-too-recent but still quite depressing item about free will in the light of neuroscience. Not sure I care to know quite what goes on under the lid (as it were) or in the mind of the ghost in the machine. At least, not when the sun is shining, and the sky is blue. And the air, with any luck, remains free and fresh. Golly.

I do like yesterday's new Twiglet soundtrack CD, however. Or perhaps I merely think I do. Or think I think I do. That way lies madness.

Well...

... the sun shone throughout our little 6.2 mile trek around West Meon, though the once-clear track across one of the fields has now been ploughed into oblivion. Time (15:14) for a spot of serious Sunday afternoon relaxation. [Pause] No wonder I'm hungry... it's 18:37 and time to get cooking. The "Freak Zone" has just featured some music from Godspeed you! Black Emperor. A brave choice.

Is it me, or is it c-c-cold out there tonight?

Footnote

1  Or blowing a gale. Well, I didn't think it was but now (08:25) it seems to be doing both despite what the chap at the BBC said on the subject half an hour ago.
