2007 — Portrait of my beautiful lady

Below this portrait are pictures of the local newspaper announcement, and the beautiful memorial plaque that Christa's brother Georg has very kindly arranged to be placed on the headstone of her parent's and other family markers in the graveyard in Meisenheim — the little town where she grew up, and where she lived until I came along and whisked her off to England all those years ago back in 1974. (Christa was, by the way, always referred to by her childhood nickname "Christel" by the German side of our family. I find this very touching.)
