We are undergoing a slight touch of the Web Engineers in the same way that what used to be called British Rail had what could be called "unreliable services" caused by "engineering works" (as opposed to the wrong kinds of leaves on the line).

Normal service may yet be resumed department

Fingers crossed. Though, in an unwelcome pair of developments, I learned a) how (relatively) easy it is to crash this fancy new "Aptana" IDE that Junior has introduced to my system and b) that my (now) ex-chum Len has snaffled the last copy of that Colin Kapp anthology as a chap named Bob in the Blackwells elves department apologetically reports that it is either no longer available or is "market restricted".
