2015 — Today's mystery object is...

Well, actually, I don't know what it's called. But — perhaps inspired by the awesome tidiness (and emptiness) of my dining room — it's a long-overdue update to the "security device" that holds open the two doors from my kitchen.

The amiable chap who laid the vinyl flooring of the kitchen in the wake of the 2010 central heating upheavals fashioned the original for me from an offcut. This is (slightly) neater. Does the job, too.
