Happily, I've rarely...

... had to use vi and I don't believe I've ever used Emacs. I actually predate both of them, too. Mind you, I did use Teco for a while when bending Hatfield Poly's dec PDP10 to my evil will with the occasional bit of MACRO-10, but that was over four decades ago now — a safely long time. (Link.)

Bluebells...

... are effectively at an end for this year. No matter. It was distinctly squishy underfoot in places, too. And only six of the eight piglets we lunched with last time were around. I thought Mike's choice of ham for his sandwich showed a certain lack of delicacy.

Grrr!

I've just found my first ant in the house. I love ants (and, as a kid, could watch their, erm, antics for hours) but I draw the line at being their landlord.
